Basic Tactical Vest Style With Optional Front Load Bearing Attachment

By itself (shown at left), the BAT offers full front, back and side ballistic protection and features front and rear hard armor plate pockets, an internal cummerbund and durable 500 denier construction. You may upgrade the BAT to a more full-featured vest by adding the optional front Load Bearing Attachment (LBA) with the Gridlock webbing equipment pouch attachment system or grid-stationed one-way snaps and Velcro® (shown). This center-opening component attaches to the BAT at the shoulders and wraps around the waist via a heavy-duty elastic strap.
