Four-thousand Correctional Officers at
Delaware's State Correctional Institutions chose Point Blank Body
Armor's D.C.O.A. vest due to four key features: comfort,
protection, quality and a modular system.
Point Blank's D.C.O.A. vest provides 81.1
foot pounds of stab protection; the same as the California Ice
Pick Standard, and NIJ Level IIA ballistic protection - all in one
vest.
Remove the NIJ Level IIA ballistic panels
and you now have extremely flexible and comfortable SL-A panels
that deliver 41.1 foot pounds of stab protection against ice
picks. Conversely, you may remove the SL-A panels and leave the
NIJ Level IIA ballistic panels for ballistic only protection.
